Susanna Piggott studied History of Art at Loughborough University, graduating in 2007. Now based in Bristol, she has spent time developing her style and partaking in many art classes.
In March 2013 she was part of an exhibition entitled 'My voice in the city' at the Bath Literature Festival. The exhibition was a fantastic success, resulting in three out of her four pieces being sold.
"My work is inspired by my emotions and my interpretation of the world around me. I use colour in an abstract and expressive way.
Images and ideas often occur in my dreams and nightmares. Natural forms such as the sea and sky are reoccurring elements in my work. I use mixed media, combining acrylic paint with pencil, oil pastel and sometimes wire."
